Grasmere village is in the heart of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria
Rothay Lodge dates from 1830 and is situated in a quiet corner
of Grasmere, just a few minutes level walk to village shops, pubs
and restaurants. Alongside the River Rothay, it sits in lovely
gardens through which the delightful Greenhead Ghyll flows and
has glorious uninterrupted views of the fells. |

Rothay Lodge Apartment is on the ground floor and has two
double bedrooms (both with en-suite bathrooms), a large
well-equipped dining kitchen and a lounge with double doors
leading to a private patio. It is self-contained, was
recently refurbished and is wheelchair accessible.

The House has five bedrooms (4 doubles and one with twin
beds), all with en-suite bathrooms. Recently extended and
refurbished, it has a large dining area linked to the kitchen,
a spacious lounge, a separate hall with seating and log burner,
a ground floor toilet and stairlift. A large south-facing patio
has a table and seating for 10 with lovely views of the fells and
the relaxing sound of the stream running through the garden. |
