From Ambleside take the A591 towards Grasmere.

Rydal Water is the first lake on your left then Grasmere Lake next, also on your left.  Continue past Grasmere Lake, straight on at a mini-roundabout just after the Daffodil Hotel.  

After approx 1 mile, at the Swan Hotel turn left towards Grasmere Village along Swan Lane (B5287).
After about 200m, immediately before the bridge over the River Rothay, turn left into the private drive by sign Rothay Lodge.

Car parking, House & Apartment is at the end of this short drive, alongside the River Rothay.
